Setup

Battery Charging

Before first use, fully charge both 26V Max Lithium batteries. The charger connects directly to the battery unit.

1. Connect the power adapter to a standard wall socket.
2. Insert the round plug from the power adapter into the charging port on the battery.
3. Allow the battery to charge until the indicator light on the charger signals a full charge.

Chain Installation

The chainsaw comes pre-assembled, but you may need to adjust the chain or replace it. Always ensure the battery is removed before performing any installation or adjustment.

1. Step 1: Install the guide plate and chain onto the chainsaw unit. Pay close attention to the direction of the chain teeth to ensure correct operation.
2. Step 2: Attach the side panel cover over the guide plate and chain.
3. Step 3: Insert the nut but do not tighten it completely yet.
4. Step 4: Use the included screwdriver to adjust the chain tightness. Ensure there is only a 0.3cm gap between the chain and the guide bar.
5. Step 5: Tighten the nut securely with the provided wrench.
6. Step 6: Check the tension of the saw chain. For correct tension, 1-3 saw teeth should be exposed when pulling the chain by hand.
7. Step 7: Once the chain is properly installed and tensioned, slide a charged battery into the chainsaw unit until it clicks into place.
