Setup
1. Installing the Battery
- Ensure the grease gun is turned off and the trigger is locked.
- Align the battery pack with the battery slot on the tool.
- Slide the battery pack into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely latched.
- To remove, press the release button on the battery and slide it out.
2. Loading a Grease Cartridge
The DGP180Z supports 400g grease cartridges.
- Unscrew the grease barrel from the main body of the grease gun.
- Pull the plunger rod all the way back and lock it into place.
- Remove the caps from both ends of a new 400g grease cartridge.
- Insert the cartridge into the grease barrel, ensuring it is fully seated.
- Screw the grease barrel back onto the main body of the grease gun until it is hand-tight.
- Release the plunger rod lock and push the rod forward to prime the grease gun.

3. Attaching the Flexible Hose
- Screw the flexible grease gun hose onto the outlet port of the grease gun until it is secure.
- Ensure the coupler at the end of the hose is clean and free of debris.

Operating
1. Adjusting Flow Rate
The DGP180Z features a two-speed flow rate selector dial:
- Setting 1 (Low Speed): Provides a slower, more controlled grease output, ideal for precise applications or when less grease is required.
- Setting 2 (High Speed): Delivers a faster grease output for quick lubrication of larger components or when speed is a priority.
Rotate the dial to select the desired flow rate before operating the tool.
2. Lubrication Procedure
- Ensure the grease gun is primed and ready for use.
- Firmly attach the coupler at the end of the flexible hose to the grease fitting on the component to be lubricated. Ensure a tight seal to prevent leakage.
- Press the trigger switch to begin dispensing grease.
- For continuous operation, press the lock-on button while the trigger is depressed. Press the trigger again to release the lock-on.
- Observe the component being lubricated. Stop dispensing grease when resistance is felt or when the desired amount of grease has been applied.
- To detach the coupler, twist it slightly while pulling it straight off the fitting.
