5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Anti-Loss Alarm

When the Itag tracker moves beyond the effective Bluetooth range (approximately 25 meters in an open environment) from your paired smartphone, both the tracker and your smartphone will emit an alarm to notify you.

To silence the alarm, simply move the tracker back within range or disable the alarm function in the application settings.

5.5. Item Tracking

The application records the last known location of your Itag tracker:

If your item is lost, open the companion application.
Navigate to the map feature to see the last disconnected location of your Itag tracker. This can help you retrace your steps.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Battery Replacement

The Itag tracker is powered by a CR2032 lithium coin battery, which typically lasts up to 6 months depending on usage. When the battery is low, the tracker's performance may degrade, or the app may notify you.
