Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your coffee maker. All detachable parts are easy to clean.

  1. Daily Cleaning: After each use, unplug the appliance. Remove the filter basket, travel mug, and drip tray. Wash these parts with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. The grinding chamber should also be cleaned of any residual coffee grounds.
  2. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  3. Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits can build up in the water tank and internal components. Descale your coffee maker every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you have hard water.
    • Mix a solution of white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio).
    • Pour the solution into the water tank.
    • Place an empty mug on the drip tray.
    • Run a brew cycle without coffee.
    • After the cycle, let the solution sit in the machine for 15-20 minutes.
    • Run 2-3 cycles with fresh, clean water to rinse thoroughly.
  4. Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the appliance. Store in a cool, dry place.
