3. Installation Guide

The Craftride Top Case T3 is a universal product. While designed for various motorcycles, including the Honda VF 750 C Magna, some adjustments may be required for optimal fitment. Professional installation is recommended if you are unsure about any steps.

3.1 Preparing the Mounting Plate

1. Identify a suitable flat surface on your motorcycle's rear rack or passenger seat area where the universal mounting plate can be securely attached.
2. Position the mounting plate (as shown in the package contents image) on the desired location.
3. Mark the drilling points if new holes are required on your motorcycle's rack. Ensure the plate is centered and aligned properly.

3.2 Attaching the Mounting Plate

4. Using the provided mounting hardware (bolts, washers, brackets), secure the universal mounting plate to your motorcycle's rear rack.
5. Ensure all bolts are tightened firmly but do not overtighten to avoid damaging the rack or hardware.
6. Verify that the mounting plate is stable and does not wobble.

3.3 Mounting the Top Case

7. Align the bottom of the Top Case T3 with the universal mounting plate.
8. Slide the top case onto the plate until it clicks securely into place. Some models may require fastening additional screws from the inside of the top case to the mounting plate. Refer to the specific instructions provided with your hardware kit.
9. Test the security of the top case by gently pulling upwards and wiggling it to ensure it is firmly attached to the mounting plate.

4. Operation

4.1 Opening and Closing the Top Case

• To open: Insert the key into the lock mechanism located on the front of the top case. Turn the key to unlock, then lift the lid.
• To close: Gently lower the lid until it latches. Ensure it is fully closed before locking.

4.2 Locking the Top Case

• Once the lid is closed, turn the key in the lock mechanism to the locked position.
• Remove the key. Always ensure the top case is locked when the motorcycle is unattended or in motion to prevent theft and accidental opening.
