4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Lantern

1. Connect the USB charging cable to the power adapter.
2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
3. Place the Lucande Mirina Lantern onto the magnetic charging base. Ensure the contacts on the lantern's base align with the charging pins on the charging base. The magnetic connection will secure it in place.
4. A charging indicator light (if present) will illuminate to confirm charging.
5. Allow approximately 4-6 hours for a full charge. The indicator light will change or turn off once fully charged.

4.2. First Use

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Turning On/Off

Locate the touch sensor on the base of the lantern. A single, brief touch will turn the lantern on or off.

While the lantern is on, press and hold your finger on the touch sensor. The light intensity will gradually increase or decrease. Release your finger when the desired brightness level is reached.

5.3. Portability

The Mirina lantern is designed for portability. Once charged, it can be moved freely to any desired location, indoors or outdoors (within its IP54 rating).

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

To clean the lantern, wipe it with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the finish.

6.2. Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the lantern frequently. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% and recharge every 3-6 months.

6.3. Storage

Store the lantern in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting

• Lantern does not turn on:
  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to the charging base and check the charging indicator.
  • Verify the touch sensor is clean and unobstructed.
• Light flickers or is dim:
  • The battery may be low. Recharge the lantern.
• Lantern does not charge:
  • Check if the USB cable and power adapter are properly connected.
  • Ensure the lantern is correctly placed on the magnetic charging base, with contacts aligned.
  • Try a different power outlet.
