Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
2. Open the battery cover by sliding it down or pressing the latch.
3. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery cover securely.

2. Placement Options

The device offers two convenient placement methods:

• Desktop Stand: Extend the integrated stand on the back of the device to place it upright on any flat surface, such as a desk, table, or shelf.
• Wall Mount: Use the hanging hole located on the back of the device to mount it on a wall using a nail or screw (not included).

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

The device automatically powers on once batteries are inserted. There is no manual power on/off button. To turn off, remove the batteries.

2. Reading the Display

The large LCD display shows the following information:

• Time: Displays the current time (AM/PM indicator).
• Temperature: Shows the current indoor temperature in °C or °F.
• Humidity: Displays the current indoor relative humidity in percentage (%).
• Comfort Indicator: A face icon indicates the air comfort level:
  • Happy Face: Comfortable (40% < Humidity < 70%)
  • Neutral Face: Dry (Humidity < 40%)
  • Sad Face: Wet (Humidity > 70%)

3. Backlight Function

Press the light bulb icon button (often labeled with a sun or light symbol) on the front of the device to activate the backlight. This improves visibility in low-light conditions. The backlight will automatically turn off after a few seconds to conserve battery life.

4. Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)

Press the °C/°F button on the front of the device to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.

5. Setting Time and Alarm

The device includes a clock function. Use the MODE and ADJ buttons to set the time and alarm. Refer to the specific button functions:

• MODE Button: Press to cycle through display modes (e.g., Time, Alarm). Press and hold to enter setting mode for the current display.
• ADJ Button: Use to adjust values when in setting mode (e.g., hours, minutes).

Detailed Time/Alarm Setting Steps:

1. From the normal time display, press and hold the MODE button until the hour digits start flashing.
2. Press the ADJ button to adjust the hour.
3. Press the MODE button again to move to minute setting, then use ADJ to adjust minutes.
4. Continue pressing MODE to set other parameters like 12/24 hour format, date (if applicable), and alarm time.
5. Once all settings are complete, press MODE one last time or wait for a few seconds for the device to exit setting mode.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the device gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
• Battery Replacement: When the display becomes dim or the readings are inconsistent, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the "Setup" section.
• Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage. Store in a cool, dry place.
