Setup and Initial Use

  1. Charge Internal Battery: For both timers, plug the unit into a live outlet for at least 30 minutes to fully charge the internal battery. This allows programming without the timer being plugged in and retains settings during power outages.
  2. Reset the Timer: Use a pointed object (like a toothpick) to press the recessed "Reset" button. This clears all previous settings.
  3. Plug in Devices: Connect the devices you wish to control into the timer's outlets.
  4. Plug Timer into Wall Outlet: Plug the timer into a suitable grounded wall outlet.

Note: The outdoor timer's patented reversed ground pin allows use with right-angle and oversized transformer plugs, preventing obstruction of other outlets.

Operating Instructions

The EZ Digital timers are designed for simple programming. There is no clock to set; programming is based on a "delay start" and "run time" concept.
