Steam Boost Function

  • For stubborn creases, press the steam boost button. This delivers an extra burst of steam (up to 180 g).
  • Wait a few seconds between each steam boost to allow the temperature to recover.

Spray Function

  • Press the spray button to moisten the fabric. This is useful for removing tough wrinkles.

Drip-Stop System

  • This iron is equipped with a drip-stop system that prevents water leakage when the iron's temperature is too low. This helps keep garments spotless while ironing.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Iron

  • Always unplug the iron and let it cool down completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary.
  • Clean the upper part of the iron with a damp cloth.
  • Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents, or aggressive liquids like alcohol, petrol, or acetone to clean the iron.

Calc-Clean Function (Descaling)

The built-in calc-clean slider helps maintain long-lasting steam performance by removing scale build-up. Perform this function regularly, especially if you use tap water.

  1. Fill the water tank to the MAX indication.
  2. Plug in the iron and set the temperature dial to MAX.
  3. Once the temperature light goes out, unplug the iron.
  4. Hold the iron over a sink, push the calc-clean slider to the 'Calc-Clean' position, and shake the iron gently. Boiling water and steam will come out of the soleplate, carrying scale particles.
  5. Release the calc-clean slider when the water tank is empty.
  6. Plug in the iron again and let it heat up to dry the soleplate.
  7. Unplug the iron and let it cool down. Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth.

Storage

  • Unplug the iron and let it cool down completely.
  • Empty the water tank.
  • Store the iron in an upright position on its heel rest to prevent damage to the soleplate.
