Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your tankless water heater. It is highly recommended that installation be performed by a licensed plumber and a qualified electrician.
4.1 Pre-Installation Checklist
- Verify electrical requirements: 240 Volts, 1x60AMP Double Pole Breaker, and 1x6AWG/2 wires with Grounding.
- Ensure plumbing connections are 1/2" NPT.
- Confirm adequate water flow rate for your desired applications. Refer to the "Application Guidelines" section.
- Choose an indoor installation location protected from freezing temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Ensure sufficient space around the unit for ventilation and maintenance.
4.2 Mounting the Unit
- Select a suitable wall location, ensuring it is structurally sound to support the unit's weight (approx. 14.11 lbs).
- Use the provided mounting bracket as a template to mark drilling points.
- Drill holes and insert wall anchors.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
- Carefully hang the water heater onto the mounting bracket.
4.3 Plumbing Connections
- Connect the cold water supply line to the water inlet (bottom right connection, typically blue).
- Connect the hot water outlet line to the hot water plumbing system (bottom left connection, typically red).
- Ensure all connections are tight and leak-free. Use thread sealant tape as necessary.
- Open the hot water faucet in your home to purge air from the system before turning on the power.
4.4 Electrical Connections
- WARNING: Ensure power is OFF at the main circuit breaker before proceeding.
- Connect the 6AWG/2 wires with grounding to the appropriate terminals inside the unit, following the wiring diagram.
- Connect the wires to the 60AMP double pole circuit breaker in your electrical panel.
- Ensure all electrical connections are secure and insulated.
- Close the unit's cover.

7. Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter. For problems not listed here, or if solutions do not resolve the issue, contact customer support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No hot water / Unit not turning on | No power; Circuit breaker tripped; Water flow too low; Inlet water temperature too low. | Check circuit breaker; Ensure sufficient water flow (min. 0.5 GPM); Verify inlet water temperature is within operational range. |
| Water not hot enough | Temperature setting too low; High flow rate exceeding capacity; Mineral buildup. | Increase temperature setting; Reduce water flow; Consider descaling if water hardness is an issue. |
| Fluctuating water temperature | Inconsistent water pressure; Air in the system; Multiple hot water demands simultaneously. | Check water pressure; Purge air from lines; Limit simultaneous hot water usage. |
| Leakage | Loose plumbing connections; Damaged internal component. | Tighten connections; If leakage persists, turn off power and water supply and contact customer support. |
