Setup Guide

1. Choose a Mounting Location

Select an outdoor location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within reach of a power outlet. The camera is designed for wall mounting. Ensure the location allows for optimal Wi-Fi signal strength.

2. Install the Camera

1. Attach the magnetic base to the desired mounting surface using the provided screw set.
2. Secure the metal plate to the camera if not already attached.
3. Mount the camera onto the magnetic base. The magnetic connection allows for easy adjustment of the camera's angle.

3. Power Connection

Connect the 6-meter power cable to the camera and then to the USB adapter. Plug the USB adapter into a power outlet.

Important Note: The USB adapter is not waterproof. If installing outdoors, ensure the adapter is protected from water using a waterproof cover or by plugging it into an indoor outlet. The micro-USB cable part that connects to the camera has a waterproof silicone cover.

If the 6-meter cable is too short, use an AC (alternating current) extension cord for the power adapter, rather than a USB extension cable. Using a long USB cable can reduce voltage and affect device performance.

4. App Setup and Wi-Fi Connection

1. Download the Eufy Security app from your smartphone's app store.
2. Create an account or log in.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your Solo Outdoor Cam E220. The camera supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is configured accordingly during setup.

Operating Instructions

Live View and Recording

Once set up, you can access the live feed from your camera via the Eufy Security app. The camera records continuously 24/7 to the installed microSD card. Recordings are in 2K resolution, providing clear and detailed footage.

Night Vision and Spotlight

If the spotlight is off, the camera will use IR night vision, providing black and white footage.
