1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup and Assembly

  1. Unpack: Carefully unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash the glass bowl, lid, and stainless steel blades in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The motor unit can be wiped with a damp cloth.
  3. Place Bowl: Place the glass bowl onto a stable, flat surface.
  4. Insert Blades: Carefully place the desired number of stainless steel blades (2 or 4) onto the central shaft inside the glass bowl. Ensure they are securely seated.
  5. Add Ingredients: Add your ingredients to the glass bowl. Do not overfill.
  6. Secure Lid: Place the sealing lid onto the glass bowl, ensuring it is properly aligned.
  7. Attach Motor Unit: Place the motor unit on top of the lid, aligning it correctly. The safety lock will engage when properly seated.

5. Operating Instructions

The BLACK+DECKER Gourmand Gris Mini Processor features two speeds for versatile processing.

  1. Plug In: Once assembled, plug the appliance into a suitable 220V electrical outlet.
  2. Select Speed: Press and hold the desired speed button on top of the motor unit:
    • Button 'I': For lower speed, suitable for softer ingredients or coarse chopping.
    • Button 'II': For higher speed, ideal for harder ingredients or fine grinding.

  3. Process: Process ingredients until desired consistency is achieved. For best results, use short pulses rather than continuous operation.
  4. Stop: Release the button to stop the appliance.
  5. Unplug and Disassemble: Always unplug the appliance before disassembling and removing processed food. Carefully remove the motor unit, then the lid, and finally the blade assembly before emptying the bowl.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity of your mini processor.

  • Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet.
  • Motor Unit: Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or any other liquid.
  • Glass Bowl, Lid, and Blades: The glass bowl, sealing lid, and stainless steel blades are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots.
  • Storage: Store the assembled or disassembled processor in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.

7. Troubleshooting
