1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Vivitar VIVMIC303 Wireless Bluetooth Karaoke Microphone. This device combines a microphone and speaker into one portable unit, allowing you to connect wirelessly to your smartphone, tablet, or computer for karaoke, voice recording, or as a portable loudspeaker. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and optimal performance.

2. Product Overview and Controls

Familiarize yourself with the microphone's components and control buttons before operation.

1. Power Button: Press and hold to turn the microphone ON/OFF.
2. PREV / Selfie Button: Short press for previous track. Long press to activate selfie function (if supported by connected device).
3. SCAN / Play/Pause / FM Scan Button: Short press to play/pause music. Long press to initiate FM radio scan (if applicable).
4. NEXT / Selfie Button: Short press for next track. Long press to activate selfie function (if supported by connected device).
5. REC Button: Press to record audio (requires compatible app/device).
6. VOL+ Button: Increase speaker volume.
7. VOL- Button: Decrease speaker volume.
8. MIC VOL+ Button: Increase microphone input volume.
9. MIC VOL- Button: Decrease microphone input volume.
10. REMIX+ Button: Increase echo/reverb effect.
11. REMIX- Button: Decrease echo/reverb effect.
12. Microphone ON/OFF / Replay Button: Toggle microphone sound ON/OFF. Press to replay recorded audio.

3. Setup and Charging

3.1 Charging the Microphone:

Before first use, fully charge the microphone. Connect the supplied Micro USB cable to the charging port on the microphone and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

• Charging time: Approximately 2-3 hours.
• Operating time: Up to 8-9 hours on a full charge.

3.2 Powering On/Off:

Press and hold the Power button (refer to Figure 2) for approximately 3 seconds to turn the microphone ON or OFF. A voice prompt will indicate the power status.

3.3 Bluetooth Pairing:

1. Ensure the microphone is powered on. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
2. On your smartphone, tablet, or computer, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "VIVMIC303" from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, a voice prompt will confirm the connection, and the LED light will stop flashing.
5. The microphone will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Karaoke Mode:

1. Pair the microphone with your device via Bluetooth (see Section 3.3).
2. Open your preferred karaoke app or music player on your device.
3. Play a song. The music will play through the microphone's built-in speaker.
4. Sing into the microphone. Adjust the speaker volume (VOL+/-), microphone volume (MIC VOL+/-), and remix/echo effect (REMIX+/-) using the control buttons on the microphone.

4.2 Using as a Wireless Speaker:

After pairing via Bluetooth, the microphone can function as a portable wireless speaker. Simply play audio from your connected device, and it will output through the microphone's speaker.

4.3 Voice Recorder Function:

To use the voice recorder function, you will typically need a compatible recording application on your connected smartphone or tablet. Once connected, open the recording app and press the REC button on the microphone to start/stop recording. Use the Microphone ON/OFF / Replay button to replay recorded audio.

4.4 Loudspeaker Function:

When the microphone is powered on and not playing music, you can speak directly into it, and your voice will be amplified through the built-in speaker, functioning as a basic loudspeaker.

5. Maintenance and Care

• Keep the microphone dry. Do not expose it to moisture or extreme temperatures.
• Clean the microphone's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Store the microphone in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Avoid dropping or subjecting the microphone to strong impacts.
• To preserve battery life, charge the microphone regularly, even if not used frequently.
