1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or exposure to excessive microwave energy.

  • Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open as this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy.
  • Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
  • Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven door closes properly and that there is no damage to the: (1) door (bent), (2) hinges and latches (broken or loosened), (3) door seals and sealing surfaces.
  • The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly qualified service personnel.
  • Ensure the appliance is properly grounded.
  • Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapors in this appliance.
  • Liquids or other foods must not be heated in sealed containers since they are liable to explode.
  • Always use oven mitts when handling hot items from the microwave.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

The microwave oven comes with the following included components:

  • Glass Turntable
  • Turntable Ring Assembly

4. Setup and Installation

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the microwave oven and all packing materials from the carton. Check for any damage during transit. Do not remove the light brown mica sheet that is attached to the oven cavity to protect the magnetron.
  2. Placement:
    • Place the oven on a flat, stable surface that can withstand the weight of the oven and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in it.
    • Ensure adequate ventilation. Leave a minimum of 20cm (8 inches) clearance above the oven, 10cm (4 inches) at the rear, and 5cm (2 inches) on both sides.
    • Do not block air vents.
    • Keep the oven away from heat and water sources.
  3. Turntable Assembly:
    • Place the turntable ring assembly into the circular indentation on the bottom of the microwave oven cavity.
    • Place the glass turntable on top of the turntable ring, ensuring it sits securely in the center.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 220V, 50Hz grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible.

5. Operating Instructions

This section details the various functions and how to operate your microwave oven.

5.1 Setting the Clock

When the microwave oven is plugged in, the display will show "0:00".

  1. Press the Clock/Timer button once.
  2. Turn the Time/Weight knob to set the hour.
  3. Press the Clock/Timer button again.
  4. Turn the Time/Weight knob to set the minutes.
  5. Press the Clock/Timer button to confirm the setting.

5.2 Microwave Cooking

This function allows you to cook with microwave power. There are 5 power levels available.

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable. Close the door.
  2. Press the Microwave button repeatedly to select the desired power level (P100, P80, P60, P40, P20).
  3. Turn the Time/Weight knob to set the cooking time (up to 95 minutes).
  4. Press the Start/+30Sec./Confirm button to begin cooking.

5.3 Grill Cooking

Use the grill function for browning and crisping food. Place food on the grill rack provided.

  1. Place food on the grill rack. Close the door.
  2. Press the Grill button.
  3. Turn the Time/Weight knob to set the grilling time.
  4. Press the Start/+30Sec./Confirm button to begin grilling.

5.4 Defrost Function

The oven offers defrosting by weight or by time.

Defrost by Weight:
  1. Press the Defrost by Weight button.
  2. Turn the Time/Weight knob to select the food weight (e.g., 200g-2000g).
  3. Press the Start/+30Sec./Confirm button.
Defrost by Time:
  1. Press the Defrost by Time button.
  2. Turn the Time/Weight knob to set the defrosting time.
  3. Press the Start/+30Sec./Confirm button.

5.5 Auto Menu Programs

The oven has 8 pre-set auto menu programs for common foods. Refer to the label inside the oven door or the full manual for specific program details.

  1. Press the Auto Menu button repeatedly to select the desired program (A-1 to A-8).
  2. Turn the Time/Weight knob to select the weight or quantity for the selected program.
  3. Press the Start/+30Sec./Confirm button to start.

5.6 Quick Start Function

Press the Start/+30Sec./Confirm button to immediately start cooking at 100% microwave power for 30 seconds. Each subsequent press adds 30 seconds to the cooking time.

5.7 Delayed Start Function

This function allows you to set a delay before cooking begins.

  1. Set the desired cooking program (e.g., Microwave, Grill, or Auto Menu).
  2. Press the Delay Start button.
  3. Turn the Time/Weight knob to set the delay time.
  4. Press the Start/+30Sec./Confirm button. The oven will count down the delay time before starting the cooking program.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your microwave oven.

  • Oven Interior: Wipe the inside of the oven with a damp cloth after each use. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.
  • Oven Exterior: Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid getting water into the ventilation openings.
  • Door and Door Seals: Clean the door and door seals regularly to ensure proper closure and prevent microwave energy leakage. Use a soft cloth and mild soap.
  • Glass Turntable and Turntable Ring: These can be washed in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
  • Grill Rack: Wash the grill rack with warm soapy water.
  • Always unplug the oven from the power outlet before cleaning.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your microwave oven, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
