1. Product Overview

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Choosing an Installation Method

The T88 Plus offers two primary installation methods: dashboard mount using the center console base, or rearview mirror mount using the universal ball bracket.

4.2 Camera and Wire Connection

Proper connection of all cameras and power wires is crucial for optimal performance. Refer to the diagram below for detailed wiring instructions.

• CH1: Connect Front Camera.
• CH2: Connect Rear Camera (8-meter cable).
• CH3 & CH4: Connect Side Wing Cameras (3.5-meter cables).

T88 Wire Connection Details:

• Green wire: Connect the positive power end of the backup lamp power.
• Grey wire & Purple wire: Connect the left or right turn signal.
• Red wire: Connect ACC start engine.
• Yellow wire: Connect the long power B+ in the car.
• Black wire: Connect GND (Ground).
• Note: If the green wire is not long enough to reach the rear of your vehicle, please extend it with another wire.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: The device will automatically power on when the vehicle starts and power off when the ignition is turned off (if connected to ACC power). A power button is also available on the unit.
• Touch Screen Interface: Navigate through menus and settings by tapping and swiping on the 12-inch touch screen.
• Split Screen Display: The default view shows a 4-way split of all camera feeds. Tap twice on any camera view to expand it to full screen.

5.2 Advanced Functions

• GPS Navigation: Access pre-installed or downloaded navigation apps from the main menu. Ensure the GPS module is connected for accurate positioning.
• 4G/Wi-Fi Connectivity: Insert a 3G/4G SIM card to enable mobile data. The device can also function as a Wi-Fi hotspot for other devices.
• Bluetooth: Pair your smartphone for hands-free calling and audio streaming.
• FM Transmit: Go to settings to enable FM transmit and select a frequency to broadcast the dash cam's audio to your car's radio.
• Parking Monitoring: Ensure the dash cam is hardwired to a constant power source for 24-hour parking monitoring. The device will automatically record if an impact is detected while parked.
• Car Assist App: Download the 'Car Assist' app from the App Store or Google Play (refer to QR codes in Section 7). Use the app for remote monitoring, GPS tracking history, and receiving alarm notifications.
• ADAS Features: Enable and calibrate Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, and Forward Vehicle Movement Alarm in the settings for enhanced driving safety.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and camera lenses. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• SD Card Management: Regularly format the SD card (at least once a month) to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Back up important video files before formatting.
• Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or the Car Assist App for any available firmware updates to improve performance and add new features.
• Temperature: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for prolonged periods, as this can affect battery life and component longevity.
