2. Important Safety Information

Always read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating this tool. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

  • Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection (safety glasses) and hearing protection. Wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy footwear. Do not operate the trimmer barefoot or in open-toed sandals.
  • Work Area Safety: Keep children, bystanders, and pets at least 50 feet (15 meters) away from the work area. Clear the work area of any debris, rocks, or other objects that could be thrown by the cutting line.

4.4 Line Installation (if replacing)

The trimmer features an auto-feed spool. If you need to replace the line or re-spool, follow these steps:

  1. Wrap the wire: Carefully wrap the new trimmer line onto the spool, ensuring it is wound evenly and tightly.

  3. Insert the spool: Place the wound spool back into the trimmer head, aligning it correctly.

  5. Pull the wire: Thread the end of the trimmer line through the designated opening in the trimmer head.

  7. Install the fasteners: Secure the spool cover or fasteners to hold the spool in place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting and Stopping the Trimmer

To start the trimmer, press the safety lock button and then squeeze the switch button. To stop, release the switch button.

5.2 Trimming Function

Hold the trimmer with both hands, keeping the cutting head parallel to the ground. Move the trimmer slowly and steadily across the area to be trimmed. The auto-feed system will dispense new line as needed.

5.3 Edging Function

To convert to edging mode, rotate the trimmer head 90 degrees. The integrated edging wheel helps guide the tool along edges for a clean finish. Walk slowly, guiding the wheel along the edge of your lawn or pathway.

5.4 Using the Flower Guard

Extend the flower guard frame when working near delicate plants, trees, or objects you wish to protect from the cutting line.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your tool.

  • Battery Care: Always charge the battery fully before first use. Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store the battery in a discharged state for extended periods.
  • Cleaning: After each use, remove the battery and clean the trimmer head, guard, and motor housing with a damp cloth. Remove any grass clippings or debris from the air vents to prevent overheating.
  • Line Replacement: Refer to Section 4.4 for instructions on how to replace the trimmer line. Use only recommended line types and diameters.
  • Storage: Store the trimmer in a dry, secure location out of reach of children. Ensure the battery is removed before storage.

7. Troubleshooting
