Setup

1. Battery Installation

The ATM Savings Bank requires 3 AA batteries (not included). To install:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.

2. Initial Power On and Time Setting

After installing batteries, the device will power on. You may need to set the current time and date.

  • Press the 'Time' button to enter time setting mode.
  • Use the number keys to input the current time.
  • Press 'Time' again to confirm.

Operating Instructions

1. Using the ATM Card and Password

The ATM bank includes a card and password protection feature to secure your savings.

  • Insert the provided ATM card into the card slot.
  • Enter your personal identification number (PIN) using the keypad. The default PIN is typically '0000' or '1234' (refer to packaging for specific default).
  • To change your password, enter the current password, then press the 'Password' button. Enter your new password and confirm.

2. Depositing Coins

To deposit coins:

  • Insert coins one by one into the coin slot on the right side of the unit.
  • The bank will recognize and count the coins, adding them to your balance.

3. Depositing Bills

To deposit paper money:

  • Insert bills into the bill feeder slot located below the keypad.
  • The motorized feeder will draw the bill into the bank.
  • You will need to manually enter the value of the bill using the keypad to update your balance.

4. Checking Balance

To view your current savings balance:

  • Insert your ATM card and enter your password.
  • Press the 'Balance' button. The current balance will be displayed on the LCD screen.

5. Withdrawing Money

To withdraw money:

  • Insert your ATM card and enter your password.
  • Press the 'Withdraw' button (often indicated by a downward arrow or similar icon).
  • Enter the amount you wish to withdraw using the keypad.
  • The money drawer at the bottom of the unit will open, allowing you to retrieve your funds.

6. Setting a Savings Target

To set a savings goal:

  • Insert your ATM card and enter your password.
  • Press the 'Target' button.
  • Enter your desired savings target amount using the keypad.
  • The bank will track your progress towards this goal.

7. Calculator Function

The ATM bank includes a basic calculator:

  • Press the 'Calculator' button to activate the calculator mode.
  • Use the number and operation keys (+, -, x, /) to perform calculations.
