3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all contents from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
3.2 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, wash the inner pot, lid (including the sealing ring, anti-block shield, and steam release valve), and all accessories with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The stainless steel inner pot is dishwasher safe.
3.3 Appliance Placement

3.4 Installing Components
- Condensation Collector: Attach the condensation collector to the back of the main unit.
- Sealing Ring: Ensure the sealing ring is properly seated in the groove on the underside of the lid.
- Inner Pot: Place the cleaned inner pot into the main unit. Ensure it sits flat and makes full contact with the heating element.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Operation
- Add ingredients to the inner pot. Ensure liquid is added as required for pressure cooking.
- Place the lid on the main unit, aligning the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the base. Turn the lid clockwise until it locks into place.
- Ensure the steam release valve is set to the 'Sealing' position for pressure cooking.
- Plug in the Multipot. The LCD display will illuminate.
4.2 Using Preset Functions
The Wellspire YS60D features 12 one-touch preset functions for common dishes. To use a preset function:
- Press the 'Preset' button repeatedly or turn the dial to select your desired cooking program (e.g., Rice, Soup, Steam).
- The default cooking time and pressure level for the selected program will appear on the LCD. You can adjust these using the '+' and '-' buttons or the dial if desired.
- Press the 'Start' button to begin cooking. The Multipot will preheat, then begin the cooking cycle.
- Once cooking is complete, the Multipot will beep and automatically switch to 'Keep Warm' mode.
4.3 Delay Start Function
The Delay Start function allows you to program the Multipot to start cooking at a later time.
- Select your desired cooking program and adjust settings as needed.
- Press the 'Delay Start' button. Use the '+' and '-' buttons or the dial to set the delay time (in hours and minutes) before cooking begins.
- Press 'Start'. The timer will count down, and the Multipot will automatically begin the selected cooking program once the delay time expires.
4.4 Pressure Release
After pressure cooking, pressure must be released before opening the lid.
- Natural Release (NR): Allow the pressure to dissipate naturally. This is recommended for foods that expand, like grains and beans. The float valve will drop on its own.
- Quick Release (QR): Carefully turn the steam release valve to the 'Venting' position. Steam will rapidly escape. Use a utensil or the provided silicone mitts to avoid direct contact with steam. The float valve will drop once pressure is fully released.
