mlogiroa Head Mount Magnifying Glass with LED Light User Manual

Model: 8 Lens Head Mount Magnifier

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the mlogiroa Head Mount Magnifying Glass. This device is designed to provide enhanced visual clarity for intricate tasks, featuring a comfortable head-mounted design and a range of interchangeable lenses. Please read this manual thoroughly to ensure proper use, maintenance, and optimal performance of your magnifying glass.

2. Product Features

  • Head-Mounted Design: Ergonomic spectacle frame design prevents the magnifier from falling and reduces pressure on the nose bridge, ensuring firm wear and reducing fatigue during long-term use.
  • Interchangeable Lenses: Includes 8 pairs of lenses with magnifications of 2.5X, 4X, 6X, 8X, 10X, 15X, 20X, and 25X to suit various close-up tasks. Lenses can be quickly interchanged and stored.
  • Integrated LED Lights: Equipped with two movable LED lights on the sides, which can be turned on individually to illuminate the observation area.
  • Adjustable Components: The lens barrels can be flipped up and down, and the bracket and headband are interchangeable for secure and comfortable wear.
  • Optimal Observation: For higher magnifications (15X, 20X, 25X), an observation distance of 1-2 cm (0.39-0.78 inches) is recommended. For lower magnifications (2.5X, 4X, 6X, 8X, 10X), a distance of 3-5 cm (1-2 inches) is recommended.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. General Use

  1. Wear the magnifying glass comfortably on your head, ensuring it is stable.
  2. Select the appropriate magnification lens for your task. For very fine details, higher magnification lenses (15X-25X) are suitable, requiring a closer observation distance. For broader views, lower magnification lenses (2.5X-10X) are recommended.
  3. Adjust the angle of the lens barrels by flipping them up or down to achieve the desired viewing position.
  4. For optimal clarity and to avoid visual fatigue, it is recommended to use only one eye for observation, especially with higher magnifications. You can alternate between eyes or flip one lens up when not in use.

4.2. Using the LED Lights

  1. To turn on an LED light, twist the small knob on the side of the lens holder.
  2. The LED lights can be adjusted 90 degrees to direct illumination precisely onto your work area.
  3. To turn off the LED light, twist the knob in the opposite direction.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning Lenses: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to clean the magnifying lenses. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • Storage: Store the magnifying glass and its interchangeable lenses in a clean, dry place, preferably in their original packaging or a protective case, to prevent dust and scratches.
  • Battery Replacement: If the LED lights dim, replace the button-cell batteries in both compartments. Ensure you use the correct battery type and observe polarity.
  • General Care: Avoid dropping the device or exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Blurry Vision: Ensure you are using only one eye for observation, especially with higher magnifications. Adjust the distance between the lens and the object. For higher magnifications, the working distance is very short (1-2 cm).
  • LED Lights Not Working: Check if the batteries are correctly installed with the right polarity. Replace batteries if they are depleted. Ensure the light switch knob is fully turned to the 'on' position.
  • Magnifier Feels Loose: If using the spectacle arms, ensure they are securely clicked into the frame. If using the headband, adjust its length for a snug fit.
