6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your TriVac 700 cleaner.

6.1 Emptying the Debris Bag

The XL Easy-Open Debris Bag should be emptied regularly, especially when visibly full or when cleaning performance decreases. To empty:

  1. Remove the cleaner from the pool.
  2. Locate the easy-open mechanism on the debris bag.
  3. Open the bag and dispose of collected debris.
  4. Rinse the bag thoroughly with a garden hose to remove fine particles.
  5. Ensure the bag is securely closed before returning the cleaner to the pool.

6.2 Cleaning Pool Filter and Pump Basket

For optimal performance of your pressure-side cleaner, it is crucial to periodically clean your pool's main filter and pump basket. Clogged filters or baskets can reduce water flow and cleaner efficiency.

6.3 Inspecting Hose and Cleaner

Regularly inspect the 34 ft. hose for kinks, cracks, or wear. Also, check the cleaner's wheels, brushes (if applicable), and internal components for any signs of damage or excessive wear. Replace worn parts as needed.

6.4 Winterization (if applicable)

If you live in an area with freezing temperatures, follow proper winterization procedures for your pool and cleaner. Store the cleaner in a dry, protected area away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
