Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Baby Trend Sonar™ Switch Travel System. Ensure all components are present and undamaged before beginning assembly.

1. Stroller Frame Assembly

1. Unfold the stroller frame until it locks securely into place.
2. Attach the wheels to the designated axles. Ensure they click firmly into position.
3. Insert the handlebar/bumper bar into the slots on the stroller frame until it locks. (Refer to image for visual guidance)

2. Seat/Bassinet/Car Seat Attachment

The Sonar Switch offers modularity, allowing you to attach the Toddler Seat (which converts to a Bassinet) or the Ally 35 Infant Car Seat directly to the stroller frame.

• Toddler Seat/Bassinet: To convert the toddler seat to a bassinet, follow the instructions provided in the separate seat manual. To attach, align the seat unit with the stroller frame connectors and push down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely fastened by pulling upwards.
• Infant Car Seat: To attach the Ally 35 Infant Car Seat, align the car seat with the stroller frame connectors and lower it until it clicks securely. Verify the connection by gently lifting the car seat.

3. Infant Car Seat Base Installation (Vehicle)

The Ally 35 Infant Car Seat Base is designed for secure installation in your vehicle. Always refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for specific car seat installation instructions and locations.

1. Position the car seat base on the vehicle seat.
2. Use either the vehicle's LATCH system or seat belt to secure the base. Ensure the base is level using the built-in dual bubble level indicators.
3. Adjust the 4-position push-button height adjustable base to achieve the correct recline angle for your infant.
4. Once the base is securely installed, attach the Ally 35 Infant Car Seat to the base, ensuring it clicks firmly into place.

1. Infant Car Seat Facing Parent: The Ally 35 Infant Car Seat can be attached to the stroller frame facing the parent for easy interaction.

2. Infant Car Seat Forward Facing: For older infants, the Ally 35 Infant Car Seat can be attached to the stroller frame facing forward.

3. Bassinet Facing Parent: The Toddler Seat converts into a comfortable bassinet, which can be attached to the stroller frame facing the parent, ideal for newborns.

4. Bassinet Forward Facing: The bassinet can also be positioned forward-facing on the stroller frame.
