Getting Started
Battery Installation and Activation
Your Tamagotchi device comes with a pre-installed CR2032 battery. To activate the device, pull the plastic tab extending from the battery compartment. The device will then power on.

Setting the Time
After activation, you will need to set the current time. Use the 'A' button to cycle through numbers and the 'B' button to confirm your selection. The 'C' button can be used to cancel or go back.
Basic Operation

- Discipline: Discipline your Tamagotchi if it misbehaves or calls for attention when its needs are met.
Checking Your Tamagotchi's Status:
To check your Tamagotchi's current status (age, weight, hunger, happiness, discipline), repeatedly press the 'A' button until the scale icon appears. Press 'B' to select it. You can then cycle through the different status screens using the 'A' button. Press 'C' to exit the status screen.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean your Tamagotchi device, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device or screen.
Battery Replacement
When the battery runs low, the screen may dim or the device may stop responding. To replace the CR2032 battery, locate the battery compartment on the back of the device. Use a small screwdriver to open the compartment, remove the old battery, and insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up. Securely close the compartment.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues:
- Constant Beeping: Your Tamagotchi is calling for attention. Check its status (hunger, happiness, discipline) and address its needs.
- Tamagotchi is Sick: If a skull icon appears, your Tamagotchi is sick. Select the medicine icon and administer treatment.
- Screen is Blank: The battery may be dead or the device may need to be reset. Replace the battery or use a pointed object to press the reset button (usually a small recessed button on the back).
- Tamagotchi Dies: If your Tamagotchi passes away, you can restart the game by pressing the reset button.
