5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove the dishwasher from its packaging. Place the appliance on a stable, level surface, such as a countertop or tabletop. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation and door opening. The compact dimensions are approximately 46.5 cm (Height) x 42 cm (Width) x 43.5 cm (Depth).

5.2 Water Connection Options

The EVVO Mini D Trip 2 offers two convenient water supply methods:

5.2.1 Manual Water Filling (No Installation Required)

This method is ideal for portability and situations without a direct water hookup. Simply open the water inlet cap on top of the dishwasher and pour approximately 6 liters of water using the provided pitcher. The dishwasher has a sensor to indicate when the tank is full or empty.

5.2.2 Direct Water Connection (Optional)

For a more permanent setup, you can connect the dishwasher to a water tap using the inlet hose. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full manual for specific plumbing requirements.

5.3 Drain Hose Connection

Connect the drain hose to the designated outlet at the back of the dishwasher. Ensure the hose is securely attached and directed into a sink or a suitable drainage point. The drain hose should not be positioned higher than the dishwasher itself to allow for proper water flow.

5.4 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (220 Volts).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Control Panel Overview

The dishwasher features an intuitive control panel with touch buttons for power, program selection, and start/pause functions. The digital display shows the remaining cycle time.

6.2 Loading the Dishwasher

Before loading, scrape off any large food particles from your dishes. Place plates, bowls, and cutlery in the designated racks. Ensure items do not block the spray arms or detergent dispenser.

6.3 Adding Detergent and Rinse Aid

Add the appropriate amount of dishwasher detergent to the dispenser. If desired, fill the rinse aid dispenser for improved drying and shine.

6.4 Selecting a Wash Program

The EVVO Mini D Trip 2 offers 6 wash programs:

  1. HYGIENE 72º: For heavily soiled items requiring high-temperature sanitization.
  2. INTENSIVE: For heavily soiled dishes and pots.
  3. ECO: An energy-efficient program for normally soiled dishes.
  4. GLASS: Gentle wash for delicate glassware.
  5. 58 MIN: A quick wash cycle for lightly soiled dishes.
  6. RAPID: The fastest cycle for very lightly soiled items.
  7. SELF-CLEAN: For cleaning the dishwasher interior.

Press the 'Mode' button to cycle through the available programs until your desired program is selected.

6.5 Starting a Cycle

After selecting the program and ensuring water and detergent are added, press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the wash cycle. The display will show the remaining time.

6.6 Extra Drying Function

The dishwasher features an automatic door opening at the end of the cycle to enhance drying performance. This allows steam to escape and air to circulate, resulting in drier dishes.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Filters

Regularly clean the filter system located at the bottom of the dishwasher to ensure optimal performance and prevent blockages. Twist and remove the filter assembly, rinse it under running water, and remove any trapped food particles. Reassemble and secure the filters properly.

7.2 Cleaning the Spray Arms

Check the spray arm nozzles for any blockages. If necessary, remove the spray arms and clean the holes with a thin wire or toothpick.

7.3 Exterior and Interior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the dishwasher with a soft, damp cloth. For the interior, use a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Run the 'SELF-CLEAN' program periodically to maintain hygiene.
