1. Introduction

2. Product Components

The Geek Aire CF150M Misting Fan comes with the following main components:

3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Geek Aire CF150M Misting Fan:

  1. Connect the Fan Unit to the Water Tank Unit: Align the fan unit's lower bracket with the slots on the water tank unit. Ensure the marbles on the bracket bounce off and fit securely into place.
  2. Install the Upper Bracket Unit: Attach the yellow upper bracket to the fan unit, ensuring the marbles click into place for a secure connection. Tighten the locking knob on the fan unit to fix the upper bracket.
  3. Check Mist Nozzles: Verify that the two mist nozzles on the front of the fan are securely in place.
  4. Position the Filter Head: Inside the water tank, ensure the filter head is placed in the sunken position.
  5. Check Swivel Caster Wheels: The fan is equipped with 4 multi-directional spinner wheels for easy mobility. Two of the rear wheels can be locked for stability.
  6. Install Battery Pack:
    • Push up the rear cover of the waterproof box on the fan unit and take out the battery pack.
    • Install the battery into the battery slot.
    • Dislocate the rear cover slightly upward and then push down and fasten it.
  7. Water Hose and Power Line Installation (Optional for continuous misting):
    • Take down the blue self-locking buckle of the Tee-junction at the bottom of the fan unit.
    • Insert the water hose into the Tee-junction. Please pull the hose twice to ensure it is well connected.
    • Install back the Tee-junction self-locking latch as original.
    • Install the water pump power line to the round socket at the bottom of the waterproof box.

4. Operation

4.1 Fan Operation

  1. Power On/Off and Speed Control: Turn the knob on the fan unit to power on the fan and adjust the speed. The fan offers 11 power levels for precise airflow control.
  2. Battery Level Indicator: The power indicator light around the knob displays the battery level. When the red light comes on (indicating 20% or less battery), please charge the fan in time.
  3. Adjustable Head: The fan head can pivot up to 75° to direct airflow where needed.

4.2 Misting System Operation

The fan can provide misting either from its internal water tank or by connecting to an external water hose.

  1. Using the Internal Water Tank:
    • Open the water tank cover.
    • Pour clean water into the tank. The tank has a 2.9-gallon capacity. You can add ice water for cooler mist.
    • Ensure the water level is between the highest and lowest marks on the tank indicator.
    • Place the water tank cover back, ensuring both lifting handles fasten securely.
    • Turn on the pump switch located on the fan unit. Mist will begin spraying from the nozzles.
  2. Using an External Water Hose: If you have connected an external water hose as per the setup instructions, ensure the water supply is turned on. The pump switch on the fan unit will activate the misting function.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your fan:

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the fan and water tank with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the fan unit in water.
  • Water Tank Drainage: For long-term storage or before moving, drain any remaining water from the tank. Turn off the pump switch, open the water tank cover, and open the drain hole at the bottom of the water tank to drain away water.
  • Battery Care: Fully charge the batteries before long-term storage to maintain battery health.
  • Nozzle Cleaning: If mist output is reduced, check the mist nozzles for clogs and clean them if necessary.

6. Troubleshooting
