Safety Information

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical devices. This speaker is designed for use with RYOBI 18V ONE+ batteries. Do not expose the speaker to rain or wet conditions. Control Buttons

The top panel of the speaker features several control buttons:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn the speaker on or off.
  • Bluetooth Pairing Button: Press to initiate Bluetooth pairing mode.
  • Volume Up/Down Buttons: Adjust the speaker's output volume.
  • Play/Pause Button: Control media playback.
  • USB Charging Port: Located on the side, provides 2.1 Amp output for charging devices.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Ensure the speaker is turned off.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the speaker (refer to Figure 4.3).
  3. Align a charged RYOBI 18V ONE+ battery pack with the battery port.
  4. Slide the battery pack into the compartment until it clicks securely into place.
  5. To remove the battery, press the release latches on the battery pack and slide it out.

5.2 Initial Power On

Once the battery is installed, press and hold the Power Button on the top panel until you hear a voice prompt indicating the speaker is powering on.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Turn on the RYOBI 18V ONE+ Bluetooth Speaker. It will automatically enter pairing mode if no device is connected, indicated by a voice prompt.
  2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
  3. Search for available Bluetooth devices. The speaker will appear as "RYOBI Speaker" or similar.
  4. Select the speaker from the list to connect. A voice prompt will confirm successful pairing.
  5. If the speaker does not automatically enter pairing mode, press the Bluetooth Pairing Button to activate it.

6.2 Playing Audio

Once paired, audio played on your connected device will stream through the speaker. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons on the speaker or your device to adjust the volume. The Play/Pause button can control media playback directly from the speaker.

6.3 USB Charging

The speaker features a 2.1 Amp USB charging port. Connect your mobile device's USB charging cable to this port to charge your device while the speaker is powered on. This feature is useful for maintaining charge on your phone or tablet during extended use.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the speaker is dry before storing or using.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove the battery pack if storing for extended periods.
  • Battery Care: Follow the battery manufacturer's instructions for charging, storage, and disposal of RYOBI 18V ONE+ battery packs.

8. Troubleshooting
