Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner. Always unplug the appliance before performing any maintenance.

Dust Bag Replacement:

The VC-EA300 uses a 5-liter dust bag. An LED indicator will illuminate when the dust bag is full and needs replacement.

  1. Open the dust bag compartment cover.
  2. Carefully remove the full dust bag, ensuring no dust escapes.
  3. Insert a new, genuine Toshiba replacement dust bag, ensuring it is correctly seated.
  4. Close the dust bag compartment cover securely.

HEPA Exhaust Filter Cleaning/Replacement:

The HEPA exhaust filter helps trap fine dust particles. Check and clean it regularly, or replace it as needed (typically every 6-12 months depending on usage).

  1. Locate the HEPA filter compartment, usually at the rear or side of the unit.
  2. Remove the filter. If washable, rinse under cold water and allow to air dry completely before reinserting. If not washable, tap gently to remove loose dust.
