5. Setup

5.1. Charging Dock Placement

• Place the charging dock against a wall in an open area.
• Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on both sides of the dock and 1.5 meters (5 feet) in front of it.
• Connect the power adapter to the charging dock and plug it into a wall outlet.

5.2. Initial Charging

• Place the robot onto the charging dock, ensuring the charging contacts align.
• The robot will automatically begin charging. For first-time use, charge the robot for at least 6 hours or until the indicator light turns solid green.

5.3. Installing Side Brushes

• Turn the robot over.
• Align the side brushes with the corresponding posts on the bottom of the robot and press them down until they click into place.

• Download the EVVO Clean App from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
• Register an account and log in.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Starting/Stopping Cleaning

• Start Cleaning: Press the power button on the robot or tap 'Start' in the EVVO Clean App. The robot will begin cleaning in Auto mode.
• Pause Cleaning: Press the power button on the robot or tap 'Pause' in the app.
• Return to Charging Dock: Press the home button on the robot or tap 'Recharge' in the app.

6.2. Cleaning Modes

The EVVO R7 offers multiple cleaning modes, accessible via the EVVO Clean App:

• Auto Cleaning: The robot intelligently maps and cleans the entire area.
• Spot Cleaning: Cleans a specific small area with concentrated power.
• Edge Cleaning: Cleans along walls and furniture edges.
• Zone Cleaning: Allows you to define specific areas on the map for the robot to clean.

6.3. Mopping Function

• Fill the water tank with clean water. Do not use detergents or harsh chemicals.
• Attach the mop pad to the water tank.
• Insert the filled water tank into the robot.
• Select the mopping mode or a combined vacuum and mop mode in the app.
• Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water after each mopping session to prevent odors and mold.

6.4. Smart Mapping and Virtual Walls

• The EVVO R7 uses LDS-LÁSER navigation to create a 360° map of your home. This map is displayed in the EVVO Clean App.
• Use the app to define virtual walls or no-go zones to restrict the robot from entering certain areas.

6.5. Anti-Collision and Anti-Fall Technology

7.1. Emptying the Dustbin

• Press the dustbin release button and pull out the dustbin.
• Open the dustbin cover and empty its contents into a trash can.
• It is recommended to empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle.

7.2. Cleaning Filters

• Remove the HEPA filter and sponge filter from the dustbin.
• Tap the HEPA filter gently to remove dust. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water.
• Rinse the sponge filter with water and let it air dry completely before reinserting.
• Replace filters every 3-6 months, depending on usage.

7.3. Cleaning Main Brush and Side Brushes

• Remove the main brush cover and lift out the main brush. Use the provided cleaning tool to remove hair and debris.
• Pull off the side brushes. Remove any tangled hair or debris. If brushes are damaged, replace them.

7.4. Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts

• Wipe all sensors (cliff sensors, wall sensors, laser sensor window) and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging dock with a clean, dry cloth.

7.5. Cleaning Water Tank and Mop Pad

• After mopping, remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
• Rinse the water tank and mop pad with clean water.
• Allow the mop pad to air dry completely before storing.
