3.4 Drainage Options

The dehumidifier offers two drainage methods:

  1. Manual Drainage (Bucket): The unit will collect water in its internal 12.68-pint bucket. When the bucket is full, the unit will automatically shut off, an indicator light will illuminate, and an audible alert will sound. Empty the bucket and reinsert it to resume operation.
  2. Continuous Drainage (Built-in Pump): For continuous operation without manual emptying, connect the included 16 ft pump hose to the pump drain port on the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable drain location (e.g., sink, floor drain, or out a window). The built-in pump will automatically discharge collected water.
  3. Continuous Gravity Feed (Optional): A 1.64 ft gravity feed drain hose is also included for continuous drainage to a lower-level drain. This method does not use the internal pump.
