1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the D Debra Audio Wireless Microphone System Pro DU4004. 3. Setup Guide

3.1 Receiver Connection

  1. Connect Antennas: Screw the four antennas into the corresponding ANT R&B and ANT C&D ports on the rear of the receiver. Ensure they are securely fastened and positioned vertically for optimal signal reception.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the provided power supply to the DC IN port on the rear of the receiver and then plug it into a power outlet.
  3. Audio Output: Connect the receiver to your audio mixer, amplifier, or powered speaker using the provided 6.5mm audio cable via the MIXED output, or use XLR cables for individual balanced outputs (BALANCED A, B, C, D) for each channel.

3.2 Microphone Battery Installation

The system requires 8 AA batteries (2 per handheld microphone and 2 per bodypack transmitter). Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.

Handheld Microphones:

  1. Unscrew the bottom part of the handheld microphone.
  2. Insert two AA batteries, observing the polarity markings (+/-).
  3. Screw the bottom part back on securely.

Bodypack Transmitters:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bodypack.
  2. Insert two AA batteries, observing the polarity markings (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.
  4. Connect the lavalier or headset microphone to the 3.5mm input jack on the bodypack.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On and Pairing

  1. Receiver Power: Turn on the receiver using the power switch located on the front panel. The "ON" indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Microphone Power: Turn on each handheld microphone or bodypack transmitter using its respective power switch.
  3. Automatic Pairing: The system is designed to automatically pair the microphones with the receiver upon power-up. The RF-A, RF-B, RF-C, RF-D indicator lights on the receiver will illuminate when a microphone is successfully connected to its corresponding channel.

4.2 Volume Control

Adjust the output volume for each microphone channel using the corresponding VOL A, VOL B, VOL C, and VOL D knobs on the receiver's front panel. Start with a low volume and gradually increase it to avoid feedback or distortion.

4.3 Channel Adjustment (Handheld Microphones)

The handheld microphones feature an FM function to switch frequency points if interference is encountered. Consult the specific instructions for your handheld microphone model for detailed channel adjustment procedures.

4.4 Optimal Usage Distance

The system offers an effective operating distance of up to 260 feet (approximately 80 meters) in open spaces. For best performance, maintain a clear line of sight between the microphones and the receiver antennas.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the receiver and microphones. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in microphones and bodypacks when the low battery indicator appears or when audio quality degrades. Remove batteries if the devices will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
  • Storage: Store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Antenna Care: Handle antennas carefully to prevent bending or breaking. Ensure they are securely attached during use and storage.
