Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Electrolux Well Q6 vacuum cleaner.
1. Emptying the Dust Container
Empty the dust container regularly, ideally after each use or when the MAX fill line is reached, to maintain strong suction power.
- Ensure the vacuum is turned off.
- Press the dust container release button and remove the container from the handheld unit.
- Hold the dust container over a waste bin and open the bottom flap to empty the contents.
- Close the flap securely and reattach the dust container to the handheld unit.
2. Cleaning the Filters
The Well Q6 features a 5-step filtration system. Clean the filters regularly to prevent clogging and maintain air quality.
- Remove the dust container as described above.
- Twist and pull out the inner filter assembly from the dust container.
- Separate the pre-filter and the fine dust filter (E10 material).
- Tap the filters gently over a bin to remove loose dust. If heavily soiled, rinse the filters under lukewarm tap water. Ensure they are completely dry before reassembling and placing them back into the vacuum. Do not use detergents or hot water.
