Setup Instructions

1. Site Preparation

  • Select a level, firm area for your pool. The ground must be completely flat and free of rocks, roots, or debris.
  • Ensure adequate drainage away from the pool area.
  • Verify that the chosen location is clear of overhead power lines and underground utilities.

2. Frame Assembly

Assemble the steel frame according to the detailed instructions provided in the separate assembly guide. The frame consists of 7-inch steel top rails and 6-inch steel vertical posts, connected by 2-piece injection-molded high-impact plastic connectors.

3. Liner Installation

  • Carefully unfold the overlap liner inside the assembled pool frame.
  • Smooth out any wrinkles on the pool floor.
  • Secure the overlap liner over the top edge of the pool wall, ensuring even distribution.

4. Skimmer Installation

Install the ABS thru-wall skimmer into the designated opening in the pool wall. Ensure all gaskets and seals are correctly positioned to prevent leaks. Connect the return fitting as instructed.

Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Pool

Begin filling the pool with water. As the water level rises, smooth out any remaining wrinkles in the liner. Stop filling when the water reaches the middle of the skimmer opening.

2. Filter System Operation

  • Before starting the pump, ensure the filter is filled with water and all valves are open.
  • Prime the pump if necessary, following the pump manufacturer's instructions.
  • Turn on the pump. The filter system should run for several hours daily to maintain water clarity. Consult a pool professional for recommended run times based on pool size and usage.

3. Skimmer Use

The thru-wall skimmer automatically collects debris from the water surface. Regularly empty the skimmer basket to ensure efficient operation. The included leaf skimmer net can be used for manual removal of larger debris.

Maintenance

1. Water Chemistry

Regularly test and balance your pool water chemistry. Key parameters include pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and calcium hardness. Use appropriate pool chemicals as directed by their manufacturers to maintain safe and clean water.

2. Cleaning

  • Use the leaf skimmer net to remove leaves and other floating debris daily.
  • Brush the pool walls and floor regularly to prevent algae growth and remove dirt.
  • Vacuum the pool floor as needed using a pool vacuum (sold separately or as part of a cleaning kit).

3. Filter Maintenance

  • Backwash the sand filter when the pressure gauge indicates a rise of 8-10 PSI above its clean operating pressure.
  • Periodically clean the sand filter media according to the filter manufacturer's instructions.

4. Winterization

Before freezing temperatures arrive, properly winterize your pool to prevent damage. This typically involves lowering the water level, draining equipment, and covering the pool. Consult a local pool professional for specific winterization procedures in your region.
