3. Setup and Installation

The VEVOR Diesel Air Heater is designed for relatively straightforward installation. Follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify all parts listed in the "What's in the Box" section are present.
  2. Placement: Position the heater on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for air intake and exhaust.
  3. Fuel Connection: Connect the fuel line from the heater to the integrated fuel tank. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.
  4. Exhaust System: Attach the exhaust pipe to the heater's exhaust port and route it safely outdoors, away from windows, doors, and air intakes. Use the provided muffler for noise reduction.
  5. Air Intake/Outlet: Connect the intake and air outlet pipes. Ensure the air intake is clear of obstructions.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect the 12V power supply to the heater. Ensure the voltage matches the heater's requirements.

4. Operating Instructions

Your VEVOR Diesel Air Heater can be operated via the LCD control panel or the remote control.

4.1. Initial Start-up

  1. Fill the fuel tank with clean diesel fuel.
  2. Ensure all connections are secure and there are no leaks.
  3. Press the power button on the LCD panel or remote control to turn on the heater. The unit will perform a self-check.
  4. Allow the heater to pre-heat. This may take a few minutes before warm air is consistently produced.

  • Power Button: Turns the heater ON/OFF.
  • Temperature Adjustment: Use the arrow buttons to increase or decrease the desired temperature (46℉-95℉ / 8℃-35℃).
  • Pairing: To pair the remote control, long-press the "UP" button on the heater's control panel for 3 seconds until "rte" appears. Then, press the OFF button on the remote control to complete pairing.

4.4. Bluetooth APP Control

For enhanced control, the heater can be operated via a smartphone application. This feature is available on "Upgrade - APP Control" models.   1. Download the "AirHeaterBLE" application from your device's app store (iOS App Store or Android APK via QR code in the manual).

  3. On the heater's control panel, long-press the 'M' button and the 'Power' button simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter Bluetooth mode. A numerical code (e.g., "6789") will appear.
  4. Open the "AirHeaterBLE" app on your phone and search for Bluetooth devices. Select the device matching the code displayed on the heater.
  5. Once connected, you can control the heater's functions (power, temperature, fan speed) directly from the app.
  6. If the Bluetooth password is inconsistent, enter engineering mode (hold up and down keys for 3 seconds) and change the password to match the app's default (usually 1234).
