  1. Prepare the Base: Lay out the base wooden panels on a clean, flat surface. Attach the four wheels to the designated corners of the base using the provided screws. Ensure the two wheels with brakes are positioned on the same side for easy access.
  2. Assemble the Planter Boxes: Begin with the lowest tier. Connect the side and front/back panels to form the first planter box. Secure them with screws. Repeat this process for the middle and top tiers.
  3. Integrate the Trellis: Attach the trellis frame to the rear of the top planter box. The trellis grid should slide into the designated grooves or attach with screws as indicated in the detailed diagram.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Outsunny Raised Garden Bed is now ready for use.

  • Filling the Planters: Fill each planter box with your desired soil mix. Ensure not to overfill, leaving adequate space for plant growth and watering.
  • Planting: Plant your flowers, vegetables, or herbs in the three tiers. The tiered design allows for varied plant heights and types.
  • Using the Trellis: For climbing plants like vines or certain vegetables, guide their growth up the integrated trellis. You may need to gently tie them to the grid as they grow.
  • Mobility: To move the garden bed, release the brakes on the two wheels. Carefully push or pull the unit to your desired location. Once in place, engage the wheel brakes to secure it.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the life of your Outsunny Raised Garden Bed.

  • Cleaning: Clean the wooden surfaces periodically with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Wood Care: As the planter is made of natural fir wood, it may benefit from occasional treatment with a wood sealant or stain to protect it from weathering and prolong its lifespan, especially if exposed to harsh elements.
  • Drainage: Ensure the drain holes at the bottom of each planter box remain clear to prevent waterlogging. The non-woven fabric liners help with drainage and soil retention.
  • Hardware Check: Periodically inspect all screws and fasteners for tightness. Re-tighten as needed to maintain structural integrity.
