1. Introduction

The Michael Todd Beauty Hydrojet is a pore-purifying facial cleansing system designed for use in the shower. It combines sonic cleansing technology with the power of water to effectively clean and refresh the skin. 2. What's Included

Your Michael Todd Beauty Hydrojet system includes the following components:

• Shower Wall Mount (with 3M tape)

3. Setup and Installation

Before first use, ensure the Hydrojet device is fully charged using the included USB charger. A full charge typically takes 24 hours.

3.1. Standard Shower Head Installation

Follow these steps to install the Hydrojet with a standard shower head:

1. Carefully remove your current shower head and any existing plumbers tape. You may need pliers to loosen it.
2. Apply new plumbers tape around the shower pipe threads.
3. Add the 3-way shower adapter valve to the shower pipe and tighten with pliers. Ensure the outlet for the Hydrojet hose is pointing downwards.
4. Re-install your original shower head onto the top outlet of the 3-way adapter and tighten with pliers.
5. Install the 5-foot shower hose to the bottom outlet of the 3-way adapter and hand-tighten.
6. Attach the Hydrojet handle to the opposite end of the 5-foot hose and hand-tighten.
7. Clean the area where you intend to install the shower wall mount. Remove the tape on the back of the mount and press it firmly to the wall.
8. Place the Hydrojet handle in the installed shower wall mount.

3.2. Handheld Shower Installation

If you have a built-in or extra handheld shower, follow these steps:

1. Carefully twist off your built-in or handheld shower head from its hose.
2. Attach the Hydrojet handle to the hose and tighten.
3. Place the Hydrojet handle in the shower wall mount.

4. Operating Instructions

The Hydrojet is designed for easy and effective facial cleansing in the shower.

1. Ensure the Hydrojet is fully charged.
2. Wet your face and apply your preferred cleanser.
3. Wet the Hydrojet brush head.
4. Turn on the device and select one of the 6 sonic speeds using the control buttons on the handle.
5. Move the Hydrojet to different areas of your face. The automatic timer will beep every 20 seconds, signaling you to move to the next area for maximum efficiency.
6. Allow the powerful adjustable spray and brush bristles to cleanse and gently exfoliate your skin.
7. After use, rinse your face and the Hydrojet thoroughly.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

The Hydrojet is waterproof and water submersible. After each use, rinse the device and brush head thoroughly under running water to remove any cleanser residue or debris. Allow it to air dry before storing.

5.2. Charging

Charge the Hydrojet using the provided USB charger. For optimal battery life, ensure the device is fully charged before its first use (approximately 24 hours). Recharge as needed when the battery indicator shows low power.

5.3. Storage

Store the Hydrojet in a dry place, ideally in its shower wall mount, when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1. Device Not Turning On or Losing Power Quickly

• Battery Depletion: Ensure the device has been charged for the recommended 24 hours prior to first use. Subsequent charges may take less time but ensure the device is fully charged before use.
• Charging Connection: Verify that the USB charger is securely connected to both the Hydrojet and a working power source.

6.2. Water Leakage During Installation

• Plumbers Tape: Ensure sufficient plumbers tape is applied to all threaded connections.
• Tightness: All connections, especially the 3-way adapter and shower hose, should be tightened firmly with pliers (as instructed) to prevent leaks.

8.1. Manufacturer Warranty

If a Michael Todd Beauty Device was purchased from the Michael Todd Beauty website or an authorized Michael Todd Beauty retailer and is defective in workmanship or materials, Michael Todd Beauty will replace your Device free of charge for 36 months from the date of purchase if the Device is registered within 90 days. Liquid skincare products are eligible for replacement due to defects in workmanship or materials within 30 days of the date of purchase.

To obtain service under the warranty, email customerservice@michaeltoddbeauty.com for instructions on returning the defective Device. Postage is paid by the sender. Michael Todd Beauty reserves the right to inspect a Device subject to a warranty claim to determine whether the claim is covered by the warranty.
