2. Safety Instructions
Important Safety Information: Always follow these safety precautions to reduce the risk of injury or damage.
- Read all instructions carefully before installation and operation.
- Ensure the power supply is disconnected before performing any installation, maintenance, or repair work.
- Keep children and pets away from the garage door area, especially during operation.
- Do not allow children to play with the remote controls or the opener.
- Regularly inspect the garage door system, including springs, cables, rollers, and pulleys, for signs of wear or damage. Do not attempt to repair these components yourself; contact a qualified technician.
- Ensure the garage door is balanced and in good working condition before installing the opener. An unbalanced door can cause severe injury.
- Install the wall control button in a location where the garage door is visible, but out of reach of children.
- Test the safety reverse system monthly. If the door does not reverse on contact with a 1.5-inch object, adjust or repair the opener.
- In case of power failure, use the manual release mechanism to operate the door.

4. Setup and Installation
This section outlines the steps for setting up and installing your VEVOR Roller Door Opener. While designed for easy installation, it is recommended to have basic DIY skills. No electrician or welding is required.
4.1 Pre-Installation Checklist
- Ensure the garage door is in good working order and balanced.
- Verify adequate headroom above the garage door opening.
- Confirm availability of a grounded electrical outlet within 6 feet of the opener's intended location.
4.2 Assembly of Rail and Chain
Connect the rail sections together according to the instructions provided in the separate assembly diagram (if applicable). Install the drive chain along the assembled rail, ensuring it is properly tensioned but not overly tight.
4.3 Mounting the Opener
Mount the main opener unit to the ceiling or wall above the garage door, ensuring it is centered with the door. Use the provided mounting brackets and hardware. Securely attach the rail assembly to the opener unit and to the header bracket above the door.

4.4 Connecting to the Garage Door
Attach the door arm to the garage door and to the trolley on the opener's rail. Ensure the connection is secure and allows for smooth movement of the door.
4.5 Electrical Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Avoid using extension cords. Once powered, the unit is ready for programming.
5. Operating Instructions
This section covers the basic operation and programming of your VEVOR Roller Door Opener.
5.1 Setting Travel Limits
The opener needs to learn the full open and full close positions of your garage door. Refer to the control panel on the main unit for specific buttons (e.g., "Set" button, "+" and "-" buttons) to program these limits.

- Press and hold the "Set" button until the display indicates programming mode.
- Use the "+" and "-" buttons to move the door to the desired open position, then press "Set" to confirm.
- Use the "+" and "-" buttons to move the door to the desired closed position, then press "Set" to confirm.
- The opener will automatically learn the force required for operation during the first few cycles.
5.2 Remote Control Operation
Your opener comes with two wireless remote controls. These are typically pre-programmed or can be easily paired with the opener. The remote control range is approximately 25-35 meters (up to 50 meters in open areas).

5.3 Automatic Closing Feature

- Monthly: Test the safety reverse system. Place a 1.5-inch object on the floor in the path of the door. The door should reverse upon contact. If not, adjust or repair immediately.

- Annually: Check the chain tension. Adjust if too loose or too tight.
- Keep the rail clean and free of debris.
- Do not lubricate the opener's drive chain.
