Safety Information
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection and sturdy footwear, when operating the lawn mower. Keep hands and feet away from the cutting blades. Ensure the area is clear of debris and other people before starting. Never operate the mower in wet conditions or on excessively steep slopes. Disconnect the battery before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

Setup
1. Handle Assembly
The mower comes largely assembled. To prepare for use, unfold the handle by releasing the green clamps on the sides. Extend the handle to your desired length by pulling it out and snapping the clips back into place to lock it securely. This adjustable handle accommodates varying user heights.
2. Battery Insertion
Open the battery compartment cover located on top of the mower. Insert a charged EGO 56V ARC Lithium™ battery into the slot. Push down until you hear a distinct 'click', indicating the battery is securely in place. Close the compartment cover.

3. Blade System Selection
Your mower features the Select Cut™ Multi-Blade Cutting System. It includes three interchangeable lower blades and one upper blade. The Mulching Blade is pre-installed and ideal for weekly mulching. For bagging, use the High Lift Bagging Blade for extra suction. The Extended Runtime Blade provides an optimal balance of cut quality and runtime. Change blades as needed based on your desired cutting performance.
The Select Cut Multi-Blade System allows for customized cutting.
Choose from Mulching, High-Lift Bagging, or Extended Runtime blades for optimal results.
Operating Instructions
1. Starting the Mower
To start the mower, hold down the green power button on the handle and simultaneously pull the lever back towards the handle. The mower will start instantly without the need for gas or pull starts.
2. Self-Propelled Feature (Touch Drive™)
The EGO Touch Drive™ self-propelled technology allows you to engage the self-propel function by applying pressure with your palm. Adjust the variable speed using the dial conveniently located at your fingertips. This feature is particularly useful for larger lawns or sloped terrain.

3. Cutting Height Adjustment
Adjust the deck height with one hand using the lever on the side of the mower. There are 8 cutting height settings, ranging from 1 inch to 4 inches, allowing you to customize the cut for different grass lengths and preferences.

4. Grass Clipping Management
The mower offers three-in-one functionality: mulching, side discharge, or bagging. Use the included two-bushel grass collection bag for bagging clippings. For mulching, ensure the mulching blade is installed. A side discharge chute is also available for dispersing clippings to the side.
Maintenance
The EGO POWER+ mower is designed for low maintenance. Regular cleaning of the deck and blades is recommended after each use. Ensure the battery is stored in a cool, dry place when not in use and charged as needed. The primary maintenance task will be blade sharpening or replacement to maintain optimal cutting performance.
Regular inspection and sharpening of the blades are crucial for effective cutting.
Troubleshooting
- Mower not starting: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Check that the safety key (if applicable) is in place.
- Reduced cutting performance: Inspect blades for dullness or damage. Replace or sharpen blades as necessary. Clear any grass buildup from the underside of the deck.
- Short runtime: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Battery performance can decrease in extreme temperatures.
- Self-propel not engaging: Check the Touch Drive control for proper engagement and speed setting.
