3. Setup and First Use

Before First Use

Filling the Water Tank

1. Ensure the iron is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Open the water tank inlet cover.
3. Fill the water tank with clean tap water up to the 'MAX' level indicator. Do not overfill.
4. Close the water tank inlet cover securely.

Temperature Control

1. Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet.
2. Set the temperature control dial to the desired setting according to the fabric type. Refer to the fabric care labels on your garments.
3. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating the iron is heating. It will turn off when the set temperature is reached.

Steam Functions

Steam ironing is recommended for fabrics like cotton, linen, and denim. Ensure the temperature dial is set to a steam-compatible setting (usually indicated by steam symbols).

• Continuous Steam: Adjust the continuous steam selector to the desired steam output (0 to 45 g/min).
• Steam Shot (150 g/min): Press the steam shot button for an extra burst of steam to remove stubborn wrinkles. Wait a few seconds between shots.
• Vertical Steaming: Hold the iron vertically, about 15-30 cm from the garment. Press the steam shot button to steam hanging clothes, curtains, etc.

Spray Function

For particularly stubborn wrinkles or dry ironing, press the spray button to mist water onto the fabric. This helps to moisten the area for easier ironing.

Self-Cleaning Function

1. Fill the water tank to the MAX level.

3. Once the iron reaches maximum temperature, unplug it.
4. Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.

6. Move the iron back and forth until the tank is empty.
7. Reheat the iron to dry the soleplate.
