Setup and Charging

Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the JumpSmart unit. Use the provided USB wall charger or USB car charger with the Micro USB cable. The LED indicators on the unit will show the charging progress. A full charge is indicated when all LEDs are solid.

• Connect the Micro USB cable to the charging port on the JumpSmart unit.
• Connect the other end of the Micro USB cable to either the USB wall charger or USB car charger.
• Plug the charger into a power outlet or vehicle's 12V socket.
• Allow the unit to charge completely.

Checking Battery Level

Press the power button briefly to check the current battery level indicated by the LED lights. It is recommended to keep the unit charged above 50% for optimal performance, especially before attempting a jump start.

Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

The JumpSmart is designed to jump start most cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, and more with 12V batteries. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off before proceeding.

1. Connect Jumper Cables: Insert the smart jumper cable plug into the JumpSmart unit's jump start port.
2. Attach to Battery: Connect the RED clamp to the vehicle's positive (+) battery terminal. Connect the BLACK clamp to the vehicle's negative (-) battery terminal. Ensure a secure connection.
3. Check Indicator: The smart jumper cable unit has an indicator light. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and readiness to jump start. If the light is red or flashing, check connections and battery status.
4. Start Vehicle: Once the indicator is green, start the vehicle's engine.
5. Remove Cables: After the vehicle starts, immediately remove the BLACK clamp first, then the RED clamp. Disconnect the smart jumper cable from the JumpSmart unit.

Note: If the vehicle does not start after one attempt, wait at least 30 seconds before trying again. Do not attempt more than three consecutive jump starts.

Using the LED Flashlight

The JumpSmart features an 8W, 330 Lumen LED flashlight with multiple modes.

• High Beam: Press the flashlight button once.
• Low Beam: Press the flashlight button a second time.
• S.O.S. Mode: Press the flashlight button a third time for a Morse code S.O.S. signal.
• Strobe Mode: Press the flashlight button a fourth time for a rapid flashing light.
• Emergency Red Flashing: Press and hold the flashlight button for 2 seconds to activate the red flashing light.
• Turn Off: Press the flashlight button again after Strobe mode, or press and hold for 2 seconds from any mode (except red flashing) to turn off.

Using as a Portable Power Bank

The JumpSmart has dual USB ports to charge mobile phones, tablets, and other USB-chargeable devices.

• Connect your device's USB charging cable to one of the USB output ports on the JumpSmart unit.
• Connect the other end of the cable to your device.
• The JumpSmart will automatically begin charging your device.
