5. Setup

5.1 Installing/Changing Saw Blades

1. Ensure the tool is switched off and the battery pack is removed.
2. Open the keyless SAW LOCK chuck by pushing the lever.
3. Insert the desired saw blade into the chuck with the teeth facing forward. Ensure it is fully seated.
4. Release the lever to secure the blade. Gently pull on the blade to confirm it is locked in place.

5.2 Attaching the Battery Pack

1. Align the battery pack with the battery slot on the jigsaw.
2. Slide the battery pack into the slot until it clicks securely into place.
3. To remove, press the release button on the battery pack and slide it out.

• Position 0 (Fine Cut): No pendulum action, for very fine and precise cuts, especially in delicate materials.
• Positions 1-3: Increasing pendulum action for faster cutting in wood and other soft materials. Higher settings are for rougher, faster cuts.
