4.2 Installation Steps

1. Prepare the Surface: For car headliners, remove the headliner from the vehicle. For home ceilings, ensure the area is clear and accessible.
2. Plan Your Design: Decide on the pattern for your stars. Mark the locations where you will insert the fiber optic cables. Consider varying the density of stars for a more realistic effect.
3. Drill Holes: Using a small drill bit (slightly larger than 0.03in), carefully drill holes at your marked locations. Ensure the holes are clean and free of debris.
4. Insert Fiber Optic Cables: Thread the individual fiber optic cables through the drilled holes from the front (visible side) to the back. For the meteor effect, group the 96 meteor cables into desired patterns before inserting.
5. Secure Cables: Once all cables are inserted, you may use a small amount of adhesive (e.g., hot glue) on the back of the surface to secure them, ensuring they do not pull out.
6. Trim Excess: On the visible side, trim the fiber optic cables flush with the surface using a sharp knife or scissors.
7. Connect to Light Engines: Gather all the fiber optic cables and insert them into the connector on the 16W Twinkle Projector. Secure them tightly. Insert the meteor effect cables into the Meteor Motor.
8. Connect Power: Connect the 16W Twinkle Projector and the Meteor Motor to the DC Power Splitter Cable. Then, connect the splitter cable to either the AC Power Adapter (for home use) or the Car Cigarette Lighter Adapter (for car use).
