1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

Insert the fully charged 24V battery pack into the battery compartment on the chainsaw until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the battery is firmly seated before operation.

3.2 Chain and Bar Installation (if not pre-assembled)

Refer to the detailed instructions in the included handbook for proper installation of the guide bar and saw chain. Ensure the chain is correctly oriented and seated in the guide bar groove.

3.3 Chain Tensioning

This chainsaw features a tool-free tensioning system. To adjust chain tension:

  1. Loosen the chain cover knob.
  2. Turn the chain tension knob clockwise to increase tension or counter-clockwise to decrease tension.
  3. The chain is correctly tensioned when it can be pulled away from the guide bar by approximately 2-3 mm at the center, but still snaps back into place.
  4. Tighten the chain cover knob firmly.

3.4 Oil Filling

The chainsaw is equipped with an automatic lubrication system. Before each use, ensure the oil reservoir is filled with appropriate bar and chain oil.

  1. Locate the oil cap on the chainsaw body.
  2. Unscrew the cap and fill the reservoir with high-quality bar and chain oil.
  3. Monitor the oil level using the visual oil window to prevent overfilling and ensure sufficient oil for operation.
  4. Securely replace the oil cap.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Starting the Chainsaw

Ensure all safety precautions are followed and the battery is installed. To start, press the safety lock-out button and then squeeze the trigger switch. Release the safety lock-out button once the motor starts.

4.2 Cutting Techniques

Always maintain a stable stance and firm grip with both hands. Allow the chainsaw to reach full speed before making contact with the wood. Use the 25 cm bar for cutting branches and small logs. The chainsaw can perform up to 45 cuts on 10x10 cm pressure-treated wood with a 2Ah battery.

4.3 Safety Precautions During Operation

  • Never operate the chainsaw with one hand.
  • Do not overreach or cut above shoulder height.
  • Be aware of falling branches and debris.
  • Avoid contact with the chain when the chainsaw is running.
  • Always turn off the chainsaw and remove the battery before moving to another cutting location.
