5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to set up your portable air conditioner:
- Positioning: Place the unit on a flat, stable surface near a window and a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of clear space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Window Kit Installation:
- Assemble the slider bracket to fit your window opening (fits windows 27.5" Min - 47.2" Max).
- Secure the exhaust hose to the unit's exhaust outlet and the window kit adapter.
- Insert the window kit into the window opening and extend it to fit snugly. Use the locking screws to secure it.
- Attach the exhaust hose to the window kit adapter.
- Apply the foam seal around the window kit to prevent air leakage.
- Drain Hose Connection (Dehumidifier Mode): For continuous drainage in dehumidifier mode, connect the drain hose to the continuous drain port on the unit and route it to a suitable drain or container.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a grounded 115V/60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.

6. Operating Instructions
Your portable air conditioner can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the remote control.
6.1 Remote Control Functions

- Power Button: Turns the unit ON or OFF.
- Mode Button: Cycles through modes: Cool, Heat, Dehumidify, Fan.
- Temperature Up/Down Buttons: Adjusts the desired temperature.

- Heat Mode: For heating the room. Set desired temperature (61°F - 88°F / 16°C - 31°C).
- Dehumidify Mode: Removes moisture from the air. Fan speed is fixed to low. Connect the drain hose for continuous drainage.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling or heating. Select desired fan speed.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your unit.
- Air Filter Cleaning: The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage.
- Unplug the unit.
- Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Unit Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Drainage: The unit has an auto-evaporation system. However, in high humidity conditions or during dehumidifier mode, the internal water tank may fill. When full, the unit will stop operating and display an error code. Drain the water by removing the drain plug and allowing water to flow into a suitable container.
- Storage: Before long-term storage, drain all water from the unit, clean the air filter, and allow the unit to run in fan-only mode for a few hours to dry the interior. Store in a dry, upright position.
