Setup

  1. Attaching the Mount to Your Backpack:

Open the Velcro straps of the shoulder strap mount. Position the mount on your backpack's shoulder strap at the desired height. Wrap the Velcro straps securely around the backpack strap and press firmly to ensure a tight fit. The T-shaped silica particles on the back of the mount will enhance friction and prevent slipping.

  2. Adjusting Mount Height:

The adjustable design allows you to slide the mount up or down the strap to find the optimal recording position. Once the desired height is achieved, ensure the Velcro is fully secured to prevent movement during activity.

  3. Attaching Your Camera/Device:

Operating Instructions

The quick release tripod adapter base allows for full 360-degree rotation and 90-degree oscillation. Loosen the screw slightly, adjust your camera to the desired angle, and then tighten the screw firmly to lock it in place. This enables versatile shooting angles without removing the mount.

  2. Quick Release Functionality:

To quickly remove your camera from the mount, simply press the release tab on the quick release buckle and slide the camera out. This feature is useful for quickly switching between handheld and mounted shooting.

  3. Optimal POV Recording:

For the best point-of-view (POV) footage, ensure the mount is securely fastened and the camera is angled correctly to capture your intended scene. Experiment with different heights and angles on your backpack strap to find the most immersive perspective for your activities.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the materials.
  • Storage: Please store the mount in a dry and cool place, away from fire and flames, when not in use.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the Velcro straps, quick release mechanism, and screws for any signs of wear or damage. Replace components if necessary to ensure secure operation.

Troubleshooting

  • Mount Slipping: Ensure the Velcro straps are tightly secured around the backpack strap. The T-shaped silica particles are designed to maximize grip; ensure they are clean and free of obstructions.
  • Camera Not Secure: Verify that the screw attaching the camera to the quick release base is tightened sufficiently. Check that the quick release buckle is fully engaged and clicked into place.
  • Excessive Shake in Footage: While the mount is designed to reduce shake, extreme movements or very heavy cameras may still result in some vibration. Ensure the mount is as tight as possible and consider the weight of your camera.
  • Weight Limit Exceeded: The maximum load bearing is 2kg (4.4lb). For optimal functionality and safety, it is suggested to keep the load weight within 1.5kg (3.3lb). Exceeding this limit may compromise stability and durability.
