2. Compatibility
The ASONPAO 953EV-P2 953ESTD remote is designed for wide compatibility with various garage door opener brands and learn button types. It supports Security+ 2.0 Rolling Code technology.

3. Setup and Programming
Follow these steps to program your ASONPAO universal garage door opener remote. Ensure your garage door is closed before beginning the programming process.
- Locate Learn Button: Identify the 'Learn' button on your garage door opener motor head. Note its color (Yellow, Purple, Red/Orange, or Green).
- Enter Programming Mode on Remote: Use the visor clip or a small pointed object to press the 'PROG' button on the back of the remote. The red LED light on the remote will turn on.
- Select Learn Button Color: Choose the button on the remote you wish to program. Press it a specific number of times based on the color of your opener's 'Learn' button:
- Yellow: Press 1 time
- Purple: Press 2 times
- Red/Orange: Press 3 times
- Green: Press 4 times
- Activate Opener's Learn Mode: Press and immediately release the 'Learn' button on your garage door opener. The LED on the opener will glow steadily for 30 seconds, indicating it is ready to receive a signal.
- Pair Remote with Opener: Within 30 seconds of activating the opener's learn mode, press and hold the same button on the remote that you programmed in Step 3. Continue holding until the garage door opener lights blink (or you hear two clicks). This indicates successful programming.

4. Operating Instructions
Once programmed, operating your ASONPAO remote is straightforward:
- Open/Close Garage Door: Press the programmed button on the remote once to open or close your garage door.
- Multiple Doors: If you have programmed multiple buttons for different garage doors, press the corresponding button for the desired door. The remote can operate up to three different garage doors.
- Range: The remote has an operating range of up to 164 feet (50 meters). Optimal performance is achieved within this range.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
The remote uses a CR2032 lithium coin cell battery. When the remote's LED light dims or the range decreases significantly, it is time to replace the battery.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote.
- Use a small screwdriver or coin to gently pry open the compartment cover.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Securely close the battery compartment cover.
5.2 Cleaning
Wipe the remote with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

If you encounter issues with your remote, refer to the following common solutions:
