Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using the Wëasy LIN220b High-Pressure Steam Generator. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Always ensure the appliance is connected to a grounded power outlet.
- Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Keep the steam generator out of reach of children and pets.
- Never direct steam towards people or animals. Steam is hot and can cause burns.
- Unplug the appliance from the power outlet before filling with water, cleaning, or when not in use.
- Use only tap water or distilled water as specified in the maintenance section.
- Do not leave the iron unattended while it is hot or connected to power.
- Place the iron on a stable, heat-resistant surface when resting.
Setup
1. Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials from the steam generator. Ensure all components are present and undamaged. Retain packaging for storage or transport.
2. Filling the Water Tank
The LIN220b features a 1.5-liter water tank for extended ironing sessions.
- Ensure the steam generator is unplugged and cool.
- Open the water tank cap.
- Fill the tank with clean tap water up to the 'MAX' indicator. For areas with hard water, using a mix of tap water and distilled water (50/50) or solely distilled water is recommended to prevent limescale buildup.
- Close the water tank cap securely.

3. Connecting to Power
Place the steam generator on a stable, heat-resistant ironing board or surface. Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet (240V).
Operating Instructions
1. Initial Heat-Up
Once plugged in, the steam generator will begin to heat up. The indicator light on the iron's handle will illuminate, typically blue, and may flash during heating. Wait for the light to become steady, indicating the iron has reached the desired temperature and is ready for use. This usually takes a few minutes.

2. Basic Ironing with Steam
The LIN220b provides 8 bars of pressure and a continuous steam output of 120 g/min for effective wrinkle removal.
- Select the appropriate temperature setting for your fabric type using the controls on the iron.
- Press the steam trigger (usually located under the handle) to release steam. For continuous steam, some models may have a lock button for the trigger.
- Move the iron smoothly over the fabric. The stainless steel soleplate ensures excellent glide.
- Release the steam trigger when finished or to pause steaming.

3. Vertical Steaming
The vertical steam function allows you to refresh garments directly on a hanger or drapes.
- Hang the garment on a hanger.
- Hold the iron vertically, a few centimeters away from the fabric.
- Press the steam trigger to release steam. Move the iron up and down the garment, allowing the steam to relax the fibers and remove wrinkles.
- Exercise caution to avoid contact with hot steam.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your steam generator.
1. Cleaning the Soleplate
The stainless steel soleplate should be cleaned regularly.
- Ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool.
- Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive liquid cleaner if necessary.
- Do not use abrasive pads or metallic scourers, as these can scratch the soleplate.
2. Descaling
Limescale can build up over time, especially in hard water areas. While the LIN220b is designed for continuous use, periodic descaling is recommended.
- Refer to the appliance's specific descaling instructions (if a dedicated function exists) or use a commercial descaling solution suitable for steam generators, following the product's instructions.
- Alternatively, fill the tank with a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and distilled water, let it sit for an hour, then run steam through until the tank is empty. Rinse thoroughly by filling and emptying with clean water.
3. Emptying and Storage
- After each use, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent limescale buildup and odors.
- The LIN220b features a convenient cable storage compartment. Wrap the power cord neatly and store it in the designated area.
- Store the steam generator in a dry, safe place.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No steam output | Water tank empty; appliance not heated; steam button not pressed. | Fill water tank; wait for indicator light to stabilize; press steam button. |
| Water leaking from soleplate | Temperature too low for steam; excessive steam use at low temperature. | Increase temperature setting; allow iron to heat fully before steaming. |
| Iron not heating | Not plugged in; power outage; faulty outlet. | Check power connection; test outlet with another appliance; contact support if issue persists. |
| White flakes on garments | Limescale buildup in the tank or iron. | Perform descaling procedure as described in the maintenance section. Use distilled water. |
