Operating Instructions
The Megalodon Monster Wash features interactive elements for a dynamic play experience. Follow these steps to operate the playset:
1. The Megalodon Power Wash (Warm Water Tank)

- Fill with Warm Water: Fill the Megalodon Power Wash tank with warm water.
- Insert Truck: Roll the exclusive color-changing Megalodon truck up the on-ramp and into the Power Wash chamber.
- Activate Wash: Close the Power Wash chamber and turn the yellow crank. This action will spin the truck within the warm water, causing its color to change as dirt stains fade away.
- Observe Color Change: The truck's color will transform, revealing a clean deco.
2. Conveyor Belt and Spinning Brushes

- Advance Truck: After the Power Wash, roll the truck onto the conveyor belt.
- Engage Brushes: Turn the yellow knob on the side of the wash station to move the conveyor belt and activate the spinning brushes. The brushes will scrub the truck as it passes through.
3. Dirt Donut Bowl (Cold Water Tray) and Exit Slide

- Re-dirty Truck: To make the truck "dirty" again and reactivate the color-changing feature, dunk it in ice-cold water, such as in the Dirt Donut Bowl.
- Choose Exit: The truck can either exit directly into the Dirt Donut Bowl for immediate re-dirtying or race down the separate exit slide.
The playset is compatible with other 1:64 scale Monster Jam color-change trucks (sold separately) for expanded play.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your playset:
- Water Drainage: After each use, drain all water from the Power Wash tank and Dirt Donut Bowl.
- Cleaning: Wipe down all surfaces with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, use mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Drying: Ensure all components are completely dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew.
- Storage: Store the playset in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Truck Care: The color-changing feature of the Megalodon truck relies on temperature differences. Avoid exposing the truck to harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Megalodon Monster Wash, refer to the following common solutions:
- Color Change Not Working:
- Ensure the water in the Power Wash is sufficiently warm and the water in the Dirt Donut Bowl (or other cold water source) is sufficiently cold. Significant temperature difference is required for the effect.
- Verify the truck is the exclusive color-changing Megalodon truck or another compatible Monster Jam color-change truck.
- Conveyor Belt Not Moving Smoothly:
- Check for any obstructions or debris caught in the gears or under the belt.
- Ensure the yellow knob is being turned fully and consistently.
- Parts Not Connecting Securely:
- Refer to the assembly instructions and diagrams to ensure parts are oriented correctly.
- Apply gentle, firm pressure to snap components into place. Do not force parts.
- Water Leaks:
- Ensure all water-holding components (Power Wash, Dirt Donut Bowl) are properly seated and not overfilled.
- Check for any cracks or damage to the plastic components.
