1. Introduction

The Wizarding World Enchanting Hedwig is an interactive owl designed to bring the magic of Harry Potter to life. This plush owl features over 15 realistic sounds and movements, responding to touch and voice. This manual provides instructions for setup, operation, and care of your Enchanting Hedwig.

2. What's Included

Please ensure all the following items are present in your package:

• 1 Hogwarts Envelope

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the Enchanting Hedwig.
2. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 3 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

Note: 3 AA batteries are included with the product. Ensure batteries are inserted correctly for proper function.

3.2 Placing Hedwig on Perch

Gently place Hedwig onto the provided display perch. Ensure her feet are securely positioned on the perch for stability.

4. Operating Instructions

Enchanting Hedwig offers various interactive features:

4.1 Petting Interaction

Hedwig responds to your touch. Pet her from front to back for loving chirps and head movements. If you pet her backwards, she will react to show her displeasure.

4.2 Finger Nibbling

Place your finger gently in Hedwig's beak, and she will playfully nibble when she is content.

4.3 Voice Recognition

Hedwig recognizes your tone of voice:

• Speak softly and gently, and she will respond with a hoot, indicating she is listening.
• If you speak too loudly, she will respond with louder sounds of her own.

4.4 Envelope Delivery

Hedwig can deliver the included Hogwarts envelope:

1. Slide a message into the Hogwarts envelope.
2. Place the envelope into Hedwig's mouth.
3. To make Hedwig release the envelope, perform the secret interactive code: stroke her head three times. She will then happily release the envelope.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Combing Hedwig's Feathers

Use the included comb to gently groom Hedwig's soft feathers. Regular combing helps maintain her appearance and keeps her happy.

5.2 Cleaning

Wipe the surface of Hedwig with a damp cloth as needed. Do not immerse in water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

6. Troubleshooting

• No Response: If Hedwig is not responding to touch or voice, ensure the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
• Incorrect Response: Ensure interactions are performed as described in the operating instructions. For example, petting from front to back for positive reactions.
• Envelope Not Releasing: Confirm the secret code (stroke head three times) is performed correctly and clearly.
