3. Installation
3.1 Unpacking
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Carefully remove the transport bolts located at the rear of the machine. Keep these bolts for future transport.
3.2 Positioning
- Place the washing machine on a flat, stable floor.
- Adjust the four adjustable feet at the bottom of the machine to ensure it is perfectly level and stable. Use a spirit level to verify.
3.3 Water Connection
- Connect the supplied water inlet hose to the cold water tap and to the water inlet valve at the back of the machine. Ensure the filter gasket is properly seated.
- Position the drain hose into a standpipe or over the edge of a sink, ensuring it is securely fixed to prevent displacement during operation. The drain hose should be at a height between 60 cm and 100 cm from the floor.
3.4 Electrical Connection
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (220-240 V / 50 Hz).
- Ensure the power cord is not trapped or crushed by the appliance.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Before Starting a Wash Cycle
- Sort laundry by fabric type, color, and degree of soiling.
- Check pockets for small items (coins, keys, etc.).
- Close zippers and fasten hooks.
4.2 Loading Laundry
- Open the washing machine door.
- Place laundry loosely into the drum, ensuring not to overload it. Leave enough space for clothes to tumble freely.
- Close the door firmly until it clicks.
4.3 Adding Detergent and Additives
The detergent drawer has three compartments:
- Compartment I: For pre-wash detergent.
- Compartment II: For main wash detergent.
- Compartment III: For fabric softener or other additives.
Add the appropriate amount of detergent and softener according to the manufacturer's instructions and the water hardness in your area.
4.4 Program Selection
- Turn the program selector dial to choose one of the 15 available programs. Common programs include: Cotton, Synthetics, Delicates, Wool, Quick Wash, Rinse & Spin, Drain, etc.
- The selected program's indicator will illuminate.
4.5 Function Buttons
After selecting a program, you can customize it using the function buttons:
- Start – Pause: Press to start the selected program. Press again to pause the cycle.
- Extra Rinse: Adds an additional rinse cycle to remove more detergent residue.
- Easy Iron: Reduces creasing by adjusting spin speed and adding a gentle tumble.
- Spin Selection: Allows you to adjust the spin speed or select no spin.
- Delayed Start: Press repeatedly to set a delay of 3, 6, 9, or 12 hours before the program starts.
4.6 Starting the Wash Cycle
- Once laundry, detergent, program, and optional functions are set, press the Start – Pause button to begin the wash cycle.
- The machine will automatically lock the door and begin filling with water.
- The cycle position indicator will show the current stage of the wash.
4.7 End of Cycle
- The machine will signal the end of the cycle.
- The door will unlock automatically after a short delay.
- Unload the laundry and leave the door slightly ajar to allow the drum to air dry.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your washing machine.
5.1 Cleaning the Detergent Drawer
- Pull out the detergent drawer completely.
- Remove any residue from the compartments and rinse under running water.
- Clean the drawer housing with a brush.
- Reinsert the drawer.
5.2 Cleaning the Pump Filter
The pump filter is located on the front facade of the machine. It should be cleaned periodically to prevent blockages.
- Place a shallow container under the filter cover to collect any residual water.
- Open the filter cover.
- Slowly unscrew the filter counter-clockwise and allow water to drain.
- Remove any lint, coins, or foreign objects from the filter.
- Clean the filter under running water.
- Screw the filter back in clockwise until it is tight. Close the cover.
5.3 Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
