1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the proper use and maintenance of your HCDZ Replacement Remote Control. This remote is designed as a direct replacement for the Musical Fidelity Digilog Compact CD Disc Player remote control.

2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
The HCDZ Replacement Remote Control requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery compartment cover downwards or press the latch to open it.
- Insert two AA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.
Note: Do not mix new and old batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

2.2 Initial Use
Once batteries are installed, the remote control is ready for immediate use. No programming or pairing is required. Point the remote control directly at your Musical Fidelity Digilog Compact CD Disc Player and press the desired function button.
