Setup Instructions
- Unfolding the Tripod:
Release the leg locks and extend the tripod legs outwards. Ensure all legs are fully extended and locked into position for maximum stability.

Figure 2: Tripod Height Adjustments. The tripod can be adjusted from a folded length of 18.8 inches (48cm) to a maximum height of 64.17 inches (163cm) with the center column extended.
- Adjusting Leg Sections:
The tripod features 4-section legs. To extend a leg section, open the flip-lock lever. Pull the leg section to the desired length, then firmly close the flip-lock lever to secure it. Repeat for all leg sections on each leg.
- Adjusting Leg Angles:
Press the plastic pull-type button at the top of each leg to release the leg angle lock. Adjust the leg to one of the available angle positions (e.g., standard, wide, low-angle) and ensure the button clicks back into place to secure the angle.

Figure 3: Multi-Angle Leg Adjustment. This image shows how the tripod legs can be independently adjusted to different angles, allowing for versatile positioning on uneven terrain or for low-angle shots.
- Extending the Center Column:
Loosen the center column locking knob. Gently pull the center column upwards to extend it to the desired height. Tighten the locking knob firmly to secure the center column in place.
- Attaching the Camera:
First, ensure the quick release plate is securely attached to the bottom of your camera. Then, align the quick release plate with the receiver on the ball head and slide it in until it locks. Tighten any additional locking mechanisms on the ball head to ensure the camera is firmly secured.

Operating Instructions
- Adjusting Camera Position with Ball Head:
Loosen the main locking knob on the ball head to allow for movement. Adjust your camera to the desired angle. The ball head allows for 360° panning and 90° vertical tilt. Once positioned, firmly tighten the main locking knob to secure the camera.

Figure 5: Ball Head Adjustment. This image shows the process of adjusting the ball head, emphasizing the secure locking mechanism and the tripod's ability to support up to 22 lbs (10 kg).
- Ensuring Stability:
Always ensure all leg locks and the center column lock are securely tightened before mounting your camera. For added stability, especially in windy conditions or with heavy equipment, utilize the stability hook to hang a counterweight (e.g., a camera bag).

Figure 6: Load Capacity Demonstration. This image illustrates a camera mounted on the tripod, demonstrating its robust design capable of handling equipment up to 22 lbs (10 kg).
- Folding for Storage/Transport:
To fold the tripod, retract the center column, collapse all leg sections, and then fold the legs upwards 180 degrees so they surround the ball head. This compact design makes it easy to store and transport.

Figure 7: Folding Mechanism. This diagram shows the steps to fold the tripod into its compact form for easy storage and portability.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust and dirt. For stubborn grime, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Lubrication: Periodically check leg locks and moving parts for smooth operation. If necessary, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the leg mechanisms. Do not over-lubricate.
- Storage: Store the tripod in a dry, cool place, preferably in its carrying bag, to protect it from dust and moisture.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect all screws, bolts, and locking mechanisms to ensure they are tight and functioning correctly. Do not use the tripod if any part is damaged or loose.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Tripod is unstable. | Leg locks not fully tightened; legs not spread evenly; center column extended too high; uneven ground. | Ensure all leg locks are secure. Spread legs evenly and adjust angles for stability. Lower the center column if possible. Use the stability hook with a counterweight. Adjust leg lengths to compensate for uneven terrain. |
| Camera wobbles on ball head. | Quick release plate not fully secured; ball head locking knob loose; camera too heavy for ball head. | Ensure the quick release plate is properly seated and locked. Tighten the ball head locking knob firmly. Verify camera weight is within the tripod's 22 lbs (10 kg) load capacity. |
| Leg sections are stiff or difficult to extend/retract. | Dirt or debris in leg mechanisms; lack of lubrication. | Clean leg sections thoroughly. Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the moving parts. |
